A nose thread lift places dissolvable threads, usually PDO (polydioxanone), along the nose bridge or into the tip to add height and definition without surgery. Below are seven Singapore clinics offering it, listed A to Z, with the threads used, the doctors named and published prices, which run from S$900 to S$2,400 where shown.

We do not rank medical providers. Facts come from each clinic’s own website and from the Singapore Medical Council (SMC), checked on 3 October 2026.

What is a nose thread lift and how is it done?

A nose thread lift is a non-surgical nose enhancement. Under local anaesthetic, a doctor inserts fine absorbable threads through a small entry point, usually at the nose tip, and positions them along the bridge or tip. Appointments take about 30 to 45 minutes.

The clinics on this list mostly use PDO threads. Line Aesthetics Clinic also offers PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) threads, which it says dissolve more slowly. The number of threads varies: Singapore Aesthetic Centre states 4 to 6 threads, while Veritas states around 8 to 20 for the bridge and 2 to 10 for the tip. Veritas inserts threads with blunt cannulas. Because the threads dissolve, the effect is temporary. Published estimates differ: Ozhean Zoey says PDO nose threads usually last 6 to 9 months, while Line Aesthetics Clinic and Veritas give 12 to 18 months. Ask the doctor what to expect in your case.

Who is allowed to perform thread lifts in Singapore?

Under the SMC’s Guidelines on Aesthetic Practices for Doctors (2016 edition), dermatologists, plastic surgeons and ophthalmologists trained in oculoplastic surgery may perform thread lifts. Other doctors may do so only if they met the case requirement in the reference period or hold a Certificate of Competence.

Thread lifts appear in both tables of the guidelines. Table 2 names the specialists who can perform them without further certification. Table 1 covers non-specialists, who needed 20 thread lift procedures in the reference period of 1 October 2006 to 30 September 2008, or a Certificate of Competence (COC) approved by the Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee. Thread lifts should be done in an operating theatre or clinic. Note that surgical rhinoplasty is different: it is limited to ENT surgeons and plastic surgeons.

One clinic we checked, SL Aesthetic Clinic, now states on its nose thread lift page that it no longer offers thread lifts, citing its reading of regulatory guidelines. We have not listed it. If a clinic tells you a doctor is qualified, ask whether they are a listed specialist or hold a COC, and check the doctor on the SMC register.

How does a thread lift compare with nose filler and rhinoplasty?

Nose filler adds volume with an injected gel and is also temporary. Threads add a lifting framework, especially at the tip. Rhinoplasty is surgery that reshapes bone and cartilage and is intended to be long-lasting, with more downtime and cost.

Some clinics combine threads with filler. Ozhean Zoey lists nose fillers from S$999 alongside threads from S$1,400. Line Aesthetics Clinic says most people return to work the same day after a thread lift, with mild swelling for 2 to 5 days and bruising at the entry point settling within a week. Veritas notes that not everyone is a suitable candidate, such as people with thin skin. A consultation should cover your nasal shape, skin thickness and any previous procedures.

How much does a nose thread lift cost in Singapore?

Published prices on this list run from S$900 for a nose tip at Line Aesthetics Clinic to S$2,400 for bridge and tip. Most single prices fall between S$1,080 and S$1,600. Check whether GST is included, because clinics differ.

Singapore Aesthetic Centre’s S$1,080 includes GST. Veritas’s S$1,599 is before GST. The Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery Clinic quotes about S$1,500 plus GST, depending on the number and type of threads. Price depends on the area treated, the number of threads and the doctor. Ask for the thread count and brand in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Is a nose thread lift permanent?

No. The threads are absorbable, so the effect is temporary. Clinics on this list publish estimates from 6 to 9 months up to 12 to 18 months, and individual results vary.

What are PDO threads?

PDO (polydioxanone) is an absorbable suture material. Singapore Aesthetic Centre describes it as a biodegradable synthetic polymer that the body breaks down, so the threads do not need removal.

Can any doctor perform a nose thread lift?

Under the SMC’s 2016 guidelines, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and oculoplastic-trained ophthalmologists may perform thread lifts. Other doctors need the required track record or a Certificate of Competence.

How long is the downtime?

Line Aesthetics Clinic says most people go back to work the same day, with mild swelling for 2 to 5 days and bruising settling within a week. Ask your doctor what applies to you.

Do the prices include GST?

It depends on the clinic. Singapore Aesthetic Centre includes GST, Veritas and The Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery Clinic quote before GST, and others do not say. Ask for a written quote.
