The best photography studios in Singapore for 2026 depend on what you need. For family, newborn and graduation portraits, we picked White Room Studio, Bambini Photography, Orange Studios and Tomato Photo Studio. If you want to hire a space and bring your own photographer, Mount Studio, Studio Five Spaces and The Kyt Studio rent studios by the hour.
Which photography studios did we pick?
We picked seven studios in two groups: four full-service portrait studios that shoot families, newborns, maternity sessions and graduations, and three studios you can hire by the hour with your own photographer. Portrait studios come first in the list, followed by the hire studios.

How did we choose these studios?
We used only what each studio publishes on its own website: the services it offers, how long it has operated, where it is and whether it shows prices. We did not use star ratings, review counts, awards or a studio’s own claims about being the most trusted.
Each studio had to meet most of these criteria:
- Clear services: the website says plainly what kinds of shoots it covers, or what is included in a studio hire.
- Published prices: we favoured studios that show starting prices, package contents or hourly rates, so you can compare before you enquire.
- Track record: a stated founding year or number of sessions, taken from the studio’s own pages.
- Practical details: an address, opening hours, booking terms or delivery times that help you plan.
- A distinct offer: each studio adds something different, such as free graduation gowns, hospital sessions, 24/7 self-access or natural light.
Where a detail such as a phone number, address or price was not published on the pages we checked, we left it out rather than guess. None of these studios is a PULSE client.
How much does a photography studio cost in Singapore?
Published prices at the studios we checked run from S$40 an hour for self-service studio hire to S$1,899 for a newborn package or maternity and newborn bundle. Family packages start at S$430 to S$499. None of the studios states whether its prices include GST.
| Studio | Type | Published price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| White Room Studio | Portrait | From S$390 | Graduation session of about 1.5 hours, or an individual corporate session |
| Bambini Photography | Portrait | S$199 to S$1,899 | Headshots from S$199; family and maternity S$430 to S$1,199; newborn S$680 to S$1,899 |
| Orange Studios | Portrait | S$499 to S$650 | Family from S$499 (up to four people); Fresh 48 S$499; newborn S$650 |
| Tomato Photo Studio | Portrait | Price on enquiry | Family, newborn, graduation, bridal and more |
| Mount Studio | Studio hire | Price on enquiry | Three studios, hourly or full day |
| Studio Five Spaces | Studio hire | From S$40 an hour | Weekday morning rate, equipment included |
| The Kyt Studio | Studio hire | S$50 to S$60 an hour | Weekday and weekend or public holiday rates |
For a wider view, Orange Studios says on its own blog that newborn sessions cost S$450 to S$800 at most studios, and S$300 to over S$1,500 across the market. That is one studio’s estimate, so use it as a rough guide only.
What changes the price of a photoshoot?
The main factors are how many edited images you take home, how many people are in the shoot, whether you book a weekday or weekend, and any add-ons such as hair and makeup or an outdoor location. Session fees and packages also work differently.
- Number of images: Bambini’s weekday family packages go from S$430 for 5 images to S$649 for 20, and S$1,199 with an album or canvas.
- Session fee or package: a session fee covers the shoot only. Bambini’s S$250 session fee includes no images; you buy them after seeing the gallery.
- Group size: Bambini’s multi-generation shoots are S$1,298 to S$1,849 for up to 8 people, then S$30 for each extra person.
- Day of the week: Bambini adds S$50 for multi-generation shoots at weekends and on public holidays, and The Kyt Studio charges S$60 an hour at weekends against S$50 on weekdays.
- Add-ons: White Room Studio charges S$200 for hair and makeup on graduation shoots and an on-location fee for outdoor sessions.
Should you book a portrait studio or hire a studio by the hour?
Book a portrait studio if you want a photographer, styling help and edited photos in one package. Hire a studio by the hour if you already have a photographer, or you shoot products, content or video yourself and only need the space and lights.
Portrait studios such as Bambini Photography and Orange Studios handle the whole session, from posing newborns to editing and delivering a gallery. Some add useful extras: White Room Studio lends graduation gowns free for NUS, NTU, SMU, SIT, SUSS, SIM, all polytechnics, RMIT, Monash and University of London graduates.
Hire studios suit freelancers, small brands and creators. Studio Five Spaces is open 24/7 with self-access and includes photo, video and podcast rooms. Mount Studio has a cyclorama, a lifestyle set and a smaller room, with lighting and props included. The Kyt Studio offers natural light and white walls.
When should you book newborn, maternity and graduation shoots?
Newborn shoots are usually done in the first two weeks: Orange Studios shoots between days 5 and 14. It schedules maternity sessions between 28 and 36 weeks. For graduation, book around your ceremony dates and ask whether gowns are provided.
Because the newborn window is short, it helps to contact a studio during pregnancy and confirm how it handles a baby who arrives early or late. Orange Studios also offers Fresh 48 sessions in hospital and newborn shoots at home, and it does not charge a reschedule fee.
What should you check before you book?
Check exactly how many edited images are included, the deposit and reschedule terms, how long delivery takes, whether weekend surcharges apply and whether the price includes GST. For studio hire, confirm the address, what equipment is included and the minimum booking.
- Deposit: Orange Studios takes a 50% deposit by PayNow.
- Delivery time: Bambini says headshots are ready in 2 to 3 days; Orange Studios delivers galleries within 2 weeks.
- Opening hours: White Room Studio shoots corporate sessions on weekdays only, and Bambini and Orange Studios work by appointment.
- Location: Bambini, Orange Studios and Tomato Photo Studio are all in the Oxley Bizhub buildings on Ubi Road 1, with Tai Seng the nearest MRT for Orange Studios.
