Best pet groomers in Singapore (2026)

The best pet groomers in Singapore for most owners in 2026 are The Grooming Table for low-stress handling, OLO for cage-free grooming across three outlets and Likeable Pets for home visits. We also picked groomers for cats, small animals, free transport and later opening hours, eight in all, using verified facts from each groomer’s own website.

Which pet groomers did we pick?

We picked eight groomers: five salons, one home-visit groomer, one service that offers both, and one cat-only specialist. Each made the list on facts we could check on its own website, such as certified groomers, clear pricing policies or the range of pets it handles.

Its pricing policy is unusually clear: no extra charge for a senior groomer or full scissoring, 30 minutes of detangling and deshedding plus toothbrushing included free, and surcharges capped at 50% of the grooming price. How did we choose these groomers?

We only listed groomers whose own websites we could read, and we ordered them on four things: verified groomer credentials, clarity of pricing and surcharge policy, the range of pets handled, and convenience such as outlets, hours and transport. We did not use ratings or reviews.

Every fact on this page comes from the groomer’s own website. Where a groomer did not publish something, such as an address or a price, we left it out rather than guess. The criteria in detail:

  • Credentials: named groomers with a Singapore Kennel Club certification or similar stated training counted in a groomer’s favour.
  • Pricing transparency: clear rules on surcharges, matted coats and what each groom includes.
  • Range of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, or a clear specialism such as cats only.
  • Convenience: number of outlets, opening days and hours, home visits and transport.

The order reflects how many of these criteria each groomer met on the evidence we could verify. It is not a judgement on the quality of a haircut, which you can only assess by visiting and seeing how your own pet responds.

How do the groomers compare?

The main differences are format and the pets each groomer takes. Five are salons, Likeable Pets only does home visits, The Grooming Angels does both, and Nekomori grooms cats only. The table sums up the points we verified on each groomer’s website.

What is the difference between a basic and a full groom?

A basic groom is a tidy-up between full grooms, typically a trim, nail clipping, ear cleaning, a sanitary shave and a tidy of the eyes and paws. A full groom adds more, and at The Grooming Table that includes anal gland expression and toothbrushing.

Definitions vary from groomer to groomer, so read the menu before you book. At The Grooming Table, the basic groom covers a trim, nails, ears, a sanitary shave and a tidy of the eyes and paws. Likeable Pets says a basic groom takes about 30 to 60 minutes and a full groom about one to two hours, which is useful if your pet gets restless. Pawpy Kisses offers a choice of three cuts with its full groom.

How much does pet grooming cost in Singapore?

Prices depend on your pet’s size or weight, its coat length and condition, and whether you book a basic or full groom. Some home-visit groomers add a transport charge. Several groomers on this list publish price lists on their websites, so compare them directly before booking.

Three things move the price most. Size comes first, as price lists are usually tiered by size or weight. Coat condition comes next: matted or heavily shedding coats take longer and can attract surcharges. Format is the third, because home visits involve travel. Ask how surcharges work before you book. The Grooming Table, for example, caps surcharges at 50% of the grooming price, does not charge extra for a senior groomer or full scissoring, and includes 30 minutes of detangling and deshedding free. Likeable Pets charges transport separately from the groom. OLO and The Pets Workshop quote prices on enquiry.

Should you choose a salon or a mobile groomer?

Choose a salon if you want the widest range of services and can get your pet there easily. Choose a mobile or home-visit groomer if your pet is elderly, anxious or dislikes car rides, or if you have no easy way to transport it.

Salons such as OLO and The Pets Workshop offer extras like boarding, daycare, spa treatments and de-ticking. Home-visit groomers such as Likeable Pets come to you anywhere in Singapore and ask only for a towel. The Grooming Angels offers both formats, and Nekomori runs mobile grooming for cats. A third route is pickup: Pawpy Kisses collects and returns pets free of charge in selected areas, though not on Saturdays.

What if your pet is anxious, matted or a cat?

Look for low-stress handling, a cat-only environment or clear de-matting rules. The Grooming Table’s groomers hold Low-Stress Handling Silver certification, Nekomori keeps its salons free of dogs, OLO grooms without cages and The Pets Workshop offers de-matting.

Low-stress grooming generally means working at the pet’s pace rather than to a tight time slot, and The Grooming Table says it sets no quotas for its groomers. For badly matted coats, a shave can be kinder than a long detangling session: The Grooming Table shaves badly matted coats rather than detangling them. Cats that react to barking or the smell of dogs may settle better at Nekomori, where no dogs are groomed.

What should you ask a groomer before booking?

Ask who will groom your pet and what training they have, what each package includes, how surcharges work and what happens if the coat is matted. For home visits, also ask about transport fees and what you need to prepare.

  • Which groomer will handle my pet, and what certification do they hold?
  • What exactly is included in the basic and full groom?
  • Which surcharges apply, and is there a cap?
  • Will you shave or detangle a matted coat, and will you check with me first?
  • Is the price confirmed before the groom starts, and does it include GST?

Frequently asked questions

How often should I get my dog groomed?

It depends on the coat. Pawkit, a Singapore mobile groomer, suggests a full groom every one to three months for long-haired breeds, with a basic groom monthly in between. Short-coated dogs usually need less.

What is included in a full groom?

It varies by groomer. At The Grooming Table, a full groom includes anal gland expression and toothbrushing on top of the basic trim, nails, ears and tidy. Always check the groomer’s own menu.

Can I get my pet groomed at home?

Yes. Likeable Pets grooms dogs, cats and rabbits at home anywhere in Singapore, The Grooming Angels offers home visits alongside its salon, and Nekomori offers mobile grooming for cats.

Which groomers handle rabbits and guinea pigs?

The Grooming Table, The Pets Workshop and The Grooming Angels all groom rabbits and guinea pigs. Likeable Pets grooms rabbits at home.

What happens if my dog’s coat is badly matted?

Many groomers will shave rather than detangle a badly matted coat, and The Grooming Table states this as its policy. Surcharges may apply, so ask before booking. The Pets Workshop lists de-matting as a service.

Do any groomers offer free pickup and drop-off?

Pawpy Kisses offers free pickup and drop-off in selected areas, including Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, Balestier, Novena, Punggol, Sengkang, Hougang and Serangoon, with paid transport elsewhere and none on Saturdays.
